In 1996, Antonio Flores became the third president and chief executive officer of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).Prior to his position at HACU, Flores served as director of programs and services for the Michigan Higher Education Assistance Authority and the Michigan Higher Education Student Loan Authority.Flores holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, a M.A. in counseling and personnel from Western Michigan University, and B.S. degrees in business administration and elementary education from Universidad de Guadalajara and Centro Normal Regional, Mexico, respectively.

Ana Duarte McCarthy is chief diversity officer for Citigroup.  She is responsible for the development and integration of diversity strategy for the company.  Ana was appointed to the Global Diversity role in February 2002, and recently expanded her responsibilities to include Corporate College Relations and Work Life programs.  Ana is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, and was chair of the Corporate Advisory Board from 1998-2000.  Ana was honored as Citigroup's Hispanic Corporate Achiever in 2001, Hispanic Business magazine's 2001 Corporate Elite list and was recently named to the YWCA-NYCA Academy of Women Leaders.

Octavio A. Hinojosa Mier is executive director of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute.  Prior to his current position, Octavio served as the inagural executive direct of the Congressional Hispanic Conference.  From 1996 to 2001, Octavio worked at the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security as a security analyst for U.S. embassies and consulates in the Western Hemisphere, Europe, and Africa.  Currently, Octavio serves on the boards of Creyentes Council, Lideres Hispanos, Liberty's Promise, Trekking for Kids, and the Washington Catholic Forum.

Susan Gonzales is corporate senior director, Federal Government Affairs, Comcast Corporation.  Gonzales also serves as the company’s primary corporate representative for national Hispanic advocacy organizations.Gonzales, with 20 years experience in communications, public affairs and public policy, joined Comcast in 2003 as regional senior director for Communications in Sacramento, California.  In this role, she served as primary spokesperson and liaison with the California State Legislature.  Prior to joining Comcast, Gonzales served in Public Affairs and Communications roles in the San Francisco Bay area including experiences at Levi Strauss & Co. and high technology firms.Previously, Gonzales served as a political appointee in Washington D.C.

Ronald Blackburn-Moreno is president and CEO of the ASPIRA Association Inc.Blackburn-Moreno formerly worked with the College Board on its EQUITY 2000 Student Enrichment Programs developing mathematics and science academies across the country. He has served as a director of Community Outreach for the Quality Education for the Minorities (QEM) Network in Washington, D.C. Blackburn-Moreno served as assistant to the President of the Ana G. Mendez University System in Puerto Rico for seven years. He also served as director of Development of the 11-campus University of Puerto Rico System and was responsible for over 22 million in federal and foundation grants.
