The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned and dynamic web site front page.
“We redesigned the web site’s front page based on the valuable feedback that we have received from regular visitors including Coalition and Corporate Members,” said Carlos F. Orta, president and CEO of HACR.“I believe this change will greatly enhance the way we communicate, interact, and present our issues to the public at large.”
The front page was redesigned to provide dynamic and current information to all Coalition and Corporate members and regular visitors. The new sections include:
HACR Spotlight – this section holds “Best Practices” presentations from Corporate Members in the areas of employment, procurement, philanthropy and governance, as well some of their public policy initiatives focused on the Hispanic community.
Latest News – this is a news ticker that allows for easier, faster access to news and information.
Leadership Interviews – this is a new feature that was developed to introduce and highlight current HACR Board Members and Corporate Member representatives.Every two weeks a new interview is posted in this section. The person highlighted shares his or her views on a number of issues such as corporate governance, the business case for diversity, procurement opportunities with corporations, among others.
Currently the HACR Web site attracts a healthy average of 100,000 visitors per week. The front page also features a Calendar of Events that is updated weekly.Visitors can find all the major events from our Coalition Members and other national Hispanic organizations. Moreover, the Web site also features a library (HACR Research Institute) of all past HACR research publications such as the Corporate Governance Report, Hispanics Today and Corporate Best Practices that are available for purchase. Finally, the Events page highlights information about our annual Symposium and our HACR/Harvard Business School Executive Education Program on Corporate Governance: Leadership in the Boardroom.
