Dominican Republic President Dr. Leonel Fernandez to Address USHCC Conference

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), one of the largest and most influential advocate organizations for Hispanic-owned businesses announced the participation of The Honorable Dr. Leonel Fernandez, President of the Dominican Republic during its upcoming 27th Annual National Convention & Business Expo in Philadelphia on September 20-23.

This annual business event, the largest gathering of Hispanic businesses in the country, brings together business leaders from all sectors of the economy and Fortune 500 national and international corporations from the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and other Latin America countries.

“President Leonel Fernandez has been a strong supporter of free market strategies that have helped the Dominican Republic move forward as an economic force in the region,” said George Franco, USHCC Chairman of the Board.“On behalf of the USHCC, our Board of Directors and our 210 local chambers nationwide, we are proud to count with President Fernandez’s participation at this important annual business event that highlights the growing influence of our accomplished national and international business community.”

President Fernandez will address the thousands of participants at this year’s Convention during the International Luncheon to be held Friday, September 22, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
