Hector Barreto Joins MyMedicalRecords.com Board of Directors |

Hector V. Barreto, the former administrator of the United States Small Business Administration and the new chairman of The Latino Coalition, has been named to the board of directors of MyMedicalRecords.com, a web-based provider of consumer-controlled health care and other vital electronic documents and records.
“HACR congratulates Hector Barreto on being appointed to MyMedicalRecords.com board,” said Carlos F. Orta, president and CEO of HACR.“For many years Mr. Barreto has been a friend and advocate of the Hispanic business community.We also wish to recognize MyMedicalRecords.com for naming such a respected and experienced individual to its board, we wish them both much success.”
Barreto joins Dr. Michael Nobel, chairman of the Nobel Laureate Foundation, Bernard Stolar, former president of Sega of America and the Atari Corporation, and MyMedicalRecords co-founders Russell Armstrong and Robert H. Lorsch on the company’s board of directors.
After his appointment by President Bush and unanimous approval by the U.S. Senate, Barreto served five years at the helm of the SBA and focused on assisting small business owners in their dealing with their escalating health care costs and related self-employment challenges.
Hector Barreto is a graduate of the 2005 HACR/Harvard Business School Executive Education Program on Corporate Governance.
