Verizon's Seidenberg Added to HACR CEO Roundtable |

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) announces that Ivan Seidenberg, chairman and CEO, Verizon Communications, has confirmed his participation at the inaugural HACR CEO Roundtable during HACR’s 15th Annual Symposium in Miami, Florida.
The CEO Roundtable is bringing together CEOs of the nation’s top Fortune companies to discuss the important roles Hispanics play in corporate America today and in the future.
“Mr. Seidenberg adds an important perspective to the CEO Roundtable discussions,” said Carlos F. Orta, HACR president and CEO. “Under his leadership, Verizon has demonstrated a strong commitment to diversity and the Hispanic consumer market. He brings insight and real world examples of ‘best practices’ that other CEOs and their respective companies can emulate.”
Recently, Verizon and Verizon Wireless were named #1 by Diversity Inc., listed in Hispanic Business’ "Top 25 Companies" and were included in Latin Business Magazine’s "Annual Corporate Diversity Honor Roll." Last year, HACR ranked Verizon #2 among Fortune 100 companies in its Corporate Index, which measures Hispanic inclusion in employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance. In 2005, it was also named to the “LATINA Style 50,” the top companies for Latinas in the U.S.; and to Hispanic Magazine’s “Corporate 100” list for providing opportunities for Latinos — citing its strong supplier-diversity program, representation on its board of directors and top-ranking executive levels and contributions to community organizations.
