“HACR brings together two things that are just part of our DNA at AT&T – a strong commitment to diversity, and a more than 130-year tradition of responsible corporate citizenship. That’s why we’re so proud to host the 2009 HACR CEO Roundtable,” said Randall L. Stephenson, chairman, chief executive officer, and president of AT&T.
“For me, it’s a way to honor the efforts of our thousands of Hispanic employees. At the same time, it’s a chance to work with our partner HACR to build stronger connections and greater opportunities in Hispanic communities throughout our nation,” he added.
The HACR CEO Roundtable provides a forum for the highest-ranking executives of HACR’s Corporate Member companies to discuss best practices related to inclusive employment and retention strategies, increasing Hispanic Market Consumer (HCM) outreach and brand loyalty, diversity in governance, and the increasing importance of the HCM to corporate America.
“AT&T is a champion of corporate responsibility and continues to demonstrate its industry leadership by creating and executing a variety of successful Hispanic initiatives in the areas of employment, procurement, and philanthropy,” said HACR President & CEO Carlos F. Orta. “We are pleased to have Mr. Stephenson host the 2009 HACR CEO Roundtable.”
The 17th Annual HACR Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion will be held May 18-19, 2009, in Dallas, Texas. Early Bird registration is available now through Friday, December 19, 2008.
