The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) welcomes Target as our new corporate member.

As an exemplary and forward-thinking company that understands the value of promoting diversity within all levels of the organization, Target joins a list of Fortune 100 corporate members making a difference in the promotion of successful Hispanic inclusion in the U.S.

Through the collaboration with HACR, Target will have the opportunity to share best practices, discuss challenges and present effective solutions for the advancement of diversity in Corporate America, while participating in high-level networking opportunities with other corporate thought leaders.

"At Target, diversity is not a campaign or promotion, it's integrated into our business every day year-round," said Laysha Ward, president, Target Community Relations. "We celebrate and share diversity and inclusion in all that we do, from serving our guests and supporting our communities to building a pipeline of diverse talent within the Target team. We are honored to partner with HACR as part of our commitment, ongoing work and recognition of the economic contributions of the Hispanic community."

As one of the nation’s leading retailers, Target remains at the forefront of diversity advancement in Corporate America. Target board member Solomon “Sol” D. Trujillo has participated in the HACR Corporate Directors Summit, while Group Vice President Juan Galarraga and Group Director Francisco C. Peschard, have participated in the HACR Corporate Executives Forum™, further indicating the company’s continued commitment to Hispanic inclusion in the U.S.

Orta. “As a leading retailer and a company committed to providing a unique and convenient shopping experience, Target understands the importance of offering an inclusive environment for its customers, employees and stakeholders. We look forward to working together, in partnership, to further its efforts in the area of Hispanic inclusion.”
