Patricia Diaz Dennis, a recipient of the 2004 HACR Corporate Governance Award and alum of the HACR/Harvard Business School Executive Program on Corporate Governance, has been elected as chair of the national board of directors for the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, making her the first Hispanic woman to serve on this capacity.
“For many years, Patricia has been a strong advocate for girls and young women around the world and her recent election to chair the Girl Scouts will serve as a beacon for Hispanic women in the nation,” said Rima K. Matsumoto, executive director of HACR.“Patricia is a true friend and one of the finest role models of our community and we are proud that she has been elected to this important position.”
