The HACR STEM Initiative was created to understand the mechanisms at work which lead to lower participation in STEM fields for Hispanics and to identify barriers to successful career progression for those Hispanics in the STEM pipeline.

(July 1, 2015) – The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) held a press conference today at the National Press Club denouncing the statements made by Donald Trump during his New York City press conference on June 16 and his subsequent “double-down” statements in recent days. His remarks about Mexican Americans and immigrants were insulting, offensive, and disparaging to Hispanics and to all who know the truth about the long and positive history of Hispanic contributions in the U.S.
