HACR Releases 2014 Annual Report

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) released its 2014 Annual Report, featuring a message from HACR’s President and CEO Cid Wilson, thought-provoking facts about Hispanics in the U.S., and a recap of the 2014 HACR Annual Programs and 22nd Annual Symposium.

HACR hosted its 22nd Annual Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion™ in San Diego. Celebrating 10 years in partnership with the Alliance for Board Diversity (ABD), panelists discussed the importance of diversity within their corporations with various executive leaders and CEOs including: Linda Akutagawa, president & CEO of the Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP), Ilene H. Lang, former president & CEO of Catalyst, Ronald C. Parker, president & CEO of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), and Frank D. Alvarez, HACR’s interim president & CEO.

The Symposium concluded with an award ceremony for the 2014 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (YHCA) class, recognizing them for their outstanding achievements within their respective corporation and their leadership contributions.

The seventh annual HACR Corporate Directors Summit™ (CDS) brought together Hispanic corporate directors to discuss the need for necessary change to increase the number of Hispanics on corporate boards.

The 2014 HACR Corporate Executives Forum™ (CEF) consisted of exclusive executives only sessions to develop the HACR CEF strategic plan framework, to position HACR and the program to be the leading institution facilitating Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America.

The 2014 HACR Corporate Achievers Summit™ (CAS) participants were immersed in engaging business sessions led by renowned experts that provided participants with the tools to stay well informed and competitive in today’s corporate environment.
