Target Sponsors HACR's 22nd Annual Symposium and Annual Programs

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is pleased to announce, for the fourth year in a row, Target will sponsor the 22nd Annual HACR Symposium, the Corporate Directors Summit™ (CDS), and the Corporate Executives Forum™ (CEF) annual meetings beginning this weekend in San Diego, Calif. at THE US GRANT Hotel.

“On behalf of HACR and its Board of Directors, we are honored once again that Target has partnered with our organization to help us fulfill our mission of diversity and inclusion across Corporate America,” said HACR Interim President & CEO Frank D. Alvarez.

The Annual HACR Symposium brings together some of the most influential Hispanic community and corporate leaders to discuss best practices and solutions for Hispanic inclusion at Fortune 500 companies through HACR’s four pillars of Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with expert speakers and leaders including:

-Linda Akutagawa, President & CEO, Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP)
-Javier Goizueta, Vice President, The Coca-Cola Company and President of their Global McDonald's Division
-Ilene Lang, Sr. Advisor, Former President & CEO, Catalyst

In addition, the HACR CDS focuses on individuals currently serving on corporate boards at Fortune 500 and HACR corporate member companies to share knowledge gained in corporate boardrooms. The HACR CEF provides the most senior Hispanic corporate executives at Fortune 500 and HACR corporate member companies with a forum to discuss business issues, challenges, and solutions as well as the opportunity to network with peers from throughout Corporate America.
