Walmart Leadership Interview Series to Debut in Upcoming HACR Corporate Observer

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) and Walmart are partnering on a new initiative. The Walmart Leadership Interview Series will highlight 25 highly successful and influential Hispanics over the next year.

The interview series will primarily feature participants of HACR’s Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™, Corporate Achievers Summit, Corporate Executives Forum™, and Corporate Directors Summit™ programs along with Walmart executives. These corporate leaders, representing all levels of management, will share insights on their commitment to diversity and Hispanic inclusion, their companies' advocacy efforts on behalf of the Hispanic community, and helpful tips and advice on how to successfully manage your career.

The Walmart Leadership Interview Series will launch in early December with:

Karina Diehl, external communications manager for MillerCoors

• Frank Ros, vice president of Hispanic strategies for The Coca-Cola Company

• Dave Ruiz, president of UPS Florida

• Ivan Zapien, vice president of federal government relations for Walmart

“On behalf of HACR, we thank Walmart for sponsoring this important initiative," HACR President & CEO Carlos F. Orta said. "This partnership is crucial because the mainstream media does little to highlight the great work of Hispanics in Corporate America and this series will bring visibility to how Hispanics are building a strong foundation, fueling the pipeline, and solidifying their position in the upper echelon of Corporate America while creating new opportunities.”

Along with the Corporate Observer newsletter, the interviews will be featured on HACR’s four social media platforms – Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube – and website.
