HACR WELCOMES TOYOTA AS ITS NEWEST GLOBAL FORTUNE 500 CORPORATE MEMBER

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) welcomes Toyota, world-leading automaker, to its expanding list of corporate members. As Corporate America continues to identify the strategic importance of diversity as an invaluable tool to increase market share and reach Latino consumers, Toyota joins HACR and other corporate leaders to continue elevating Hispanic inclusion.

“In keeping with Toyota's Guiding Principle of ‘Respect for People,’ diversity and inclusion have always been among our top business priorities,” said Yoshi Inaba, president & chief operating officer of Toyota Motor North America. “Promoting a more inclusive environment across our operations is not only the right thing to do – it’s good business.”

As HACR’s newest corporate member, Toyota will become a part of a powerful group of forward-thinking corporations, and have the opportunity to share effective diversity strategies and work collaboratively in furthering its Hispanic inclusion efforts.

“HACR is honored to welcome Toyota to its growing list of Global Fortune 500 members,” said HACR President & CEO, Carlos F. Orta. “It is essential that we continually foster strong partnerships with the auto industry. We are pleased to see Toyota acknowledge the contributions of our Hispanic stakeholders and the role they play in the success of their company.”
