Monica Diaz Joins ESPN
The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) congratulates Monica Diaz on joining ESPN Inc. as their Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Work Life.
Diaz will be responsible for advancing ESPN’s global diversity and inclusion philosophy and for leveraging its programs to build and promote ESPN as an employer of choice. She will be based at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, CT and report to Paul Richardson, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, ESPN.
Diaz joins ESPN from the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA where she led the development and execution of the company’s global diversity and inclusion strategy. She also developed and implemented strategies to increase talent retention and advance the diverse workforce, especially women and minorities. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Merck & Co.

Diaz, a graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude).
Diaz has been named among HispanicBusiness Magazine’s 100 Most Influential (2011) and to Cambridge’s Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women list, “Honors Edition” (2007-2008).
An HACR Corporate Executives Forum™ member, Diaz currently serves on the Board of Directors of Madrinas, a national organization of Latina executives.
