HACR’s 2011 Corporate Inclusion Index Survey Submission Window Closing Soon

Key Hispanic Inclusion Measurement Survey Ends July 31, 2011

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) launched its 2011 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index (CII) survey June 1. The HACR CII measures all Fortune 100 and HACR corporate members companies’ Hispanic inclusion strategies based on the organization’s four areas of corporate social responsibility and market reciprocity: employment, procurement, philanthropy and governance. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, July 31, 2011.

“The HACR CII report allows us to recognize companies and industries that are making strides, being transparent and producing favorable Hispanic inclusion results," said Carlos F. Orta, President and CEO of HACR. “At the same time, it is imperative that we continue to hold companies accountable that simply do not 'get it' when it comes to Hispanic community and consumers."

The 2010 report showed that significant strides were made in awareness and participation with the submission of the survey by 33% of the Fortune 100, approximately 50% of the Fortune 25 and 60% of the Fortune 10. HACR is currently collecting submissions for the 2011 HACR CII survey and will publish its results in December 2011
