Target Corporation Sponsors the 20th Annual HACR Symposium, Corporate Directors Summit™ and Corporate Executives Forum™

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is pleased to announce Target Corporation, the second largest general merchandise retailer in America, has once again pledged their support as sponsor of the 20th Annual HACR Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion™ April 16th-17th in Chicago.

“Target shares HACR’s commitment to advancing the inclusion of Hispanics in Corporate America, and we are pleased to be returning as a sponsor of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility,” said Target Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, Kim Strong.

The Annual HACR Symposium, which is the most celebrated annual event for HACR, is known for bringing together some of the nation’s most influential Hispanic leaders, government officials, and corporate executives and corporate directors to discuss effective strategies and models for achieving greater participation in the areas of Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy and Governance – HACR’s four pillars of market reciprocity.

Target will also support HACR by sponsoring the HACR Corporate Directors Summit™ (HACR CDS) and the HACR Corporate Executives Forum™ (HACR CEF) programs, which takes place April 13th-15th in Chicago.

The HACR CDS is an initiative to increase the number of Hispanics serving on corporate boards so it reflects the growing U.S. Hispanic population. The HACR CDS also aims to provide individuals currently serving on corporate boards of Fortune 500 companies and/or HACR member companies with the opportunity to share knowledge, valuable experiences, and governance best practices.

The HACRCEF gathers senior corporate executives currently employed at Fortune 500 and/or HACR corporate member companies to share best practices, discuss the business case for Hispanic inclusion, and network with corporate directors.

“HACR is proud to once again partner with Target Corporation, one of the most respected and admired companies in the United States,” said HACR President & CEO, Carlos F. Orta.
