YHCA Press Release & Recap

Launched earlier this year, the HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (YHCA) Program was created to recognize at a national level young Hispanics in Corporate America who have shown leadership qualities within their respective corporations and have demonstrated a proven commitment to the Hispanic community. Once selected, these YHCA will participate in a one day leadership and education training conference in Washington, DC.

Over the past 20 years, HACR has recognized the successes of companies that are committed to the inclusion of Hispanics in the areas of employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance.

As the Hispanic community continues to grow in population, political clout, and economic buying power, Corporate America is realizing that companies who have cultural competence in residence, and utilize in-house Hispanic decision-makers to develop products for our consumers, are having greater success than companies who lack these in-house skills and understanding — it is the power of Hispanic Inclusion.

Because HACR understands that a company’s success will be increasingly assisted by their own in-house Hispanic talent and that these talented individuals needed to be recognized nationally, we launched the Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers (YHCA) program.

This annual program will recognize young Hispanics at Fortune 500 companies and upon selection as a YHCA, these individuals will not only have been formally recognized by their companies and HACR, but will act as role models for others in Corporate America.
